In consultation and coordination with strategic partners in its community, the not-for-profit Crown Hill Heritage Foundation completed a Master Plan designed to anticipate rather than react to fundraising needs for historic Crown Hill Cemetery. B Plus C Communications created a direct-mail campaign addressing the goals of planned support and seeking donor engagement.
The campaign included a 20-page brochure with the theme “I am Crown Hill,” emphasizing many donors’ enduring connection to the cemetery. Each sequence of pages tied that theme to messages about central components of the Master Plan, addressing specific aspects of the cemetery’s role as a community asset, including human heritage, events and programming experiences, historic landmarks, neighborhood engagement, and natural beauty.
